Move Well, Birth Well is a movement-based prenatal class that blends pregnancy-safe strength, mobility, pelvic floor education, and breathing techniques to help pregnant people feel stronger, reduce discomfort, and prepare the body for labor and birth.

This class is designed for pregnant people at any stage of pregnancy who want safer movement, pain relief, improved pelvic stability, and practical tools to support an easier labor and postpartum recovery.

You can start at any point in pregnancy. Many participants begin in the second trimester, but modified versions are offered for first-trimester comfort and for those joining later in pregnancy.

Sessions combine warm-ups, functional strength and mobility exercises, breathwork, pelvic floor coaching, and short education segments (positions for labor, pushing mechanics, partner support). Classes prioritize safety, modification, and empowerment.

Regular participation can reduce back and pelvic pain, improve stamina for labor, speed postpartum recovery, teach effective breathing/positioning for labor, and boost confidence entering birth.

If you have medical concerns or a high-risk pregnancy, please contact your provider before starting. We welcome referrals and will provide modifications — always notify the instructor of any conditions before class.

Wear comfortable, supportive clothing and bring a water bottle, a small towel, and an exercise mat (we have mats if needed). Comfortable sneakers or barefoot for mat work are both OK depending on the session.

Classes are generally paid out-of-pocket; some insurance plans may reimburse for prenatal wellness classes — keep your receipt and check with your provider. We can provide invoices upon request.
