Preschool Play to Learn is a play-based adult and child preschool play group for 2 and 3year-olds in San Jose. Designed to support early development through hands-on learning, each 90-minute session blends small and large motor activities with circle time. 40 minutes: Open-Ended Stations
Fine motor play activities for kids; adults encouraged to mingle and let children explore independently.5 minutes: Clean-Up
Adults and children work together to tidy up—building responsibility and teamwork.45 minutes: Circle Time
Large motor movement, name songs, stories, and group activities. A fun and engaging way to build community and comprehension.20 minutes: Parent Q&A
After class, Kim is available to answer questions and support parents while packing up.

Kim brings over a decade of experience in early childhood education and a passion for supporting families through play and connection. With a background as a preschool teacher and parent educator, Kim creates classes that are developmentally appropriate, fun, and supportive for both children and caregivers.
Grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and enriched by continuing education with early childhood leaders like Bev Bos and Lisa Murphy, the “Ooey-Gooey Lady,” Kim’s approach is calm, flexible, and full of fun! She meets children where they’re at, creating inviting spaces and playful opportunities that naturally foster social-emotional growth, motor skills, comprehension, and confidence.
